The Open Science for Innovation Conference, is taking place at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris on 12 November 2026, in the week we mark twenty-five years of World Science Day for Peace and Development (10 November).
The Conference positions open science partnerships as an instrument of science, technology and innovation policy, supporting the implementation of the 2021 UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science. It is structured as a single day, built around four plenary sessions:
